In this episode, Ryan discusses the death of the real estate agent. He mentions real estate agents are no longer the gatekeepers of information. People don’t need real estate agents. 99% of agents do not have a clue what is going on in the industry right now.

He also discusses how to brand yourself around something. Ryan brands himself around his cars. You need to figure out what you’re into, and you will find other people who are into that too.

The real estate agent, as you know it today, Sally, who shows up at the house and signs papers and sticks a sign in the yard, she’s going to be homeless. If that’s her process. Five years, not, not a half a century from now, five years from now, if Sally doesn’t learn how to get online and build a machine, guess what? As soon as Zillow’s robots just bid on houses, what would I pay you 6% for? And let me tell you what, as a real estate investor, the biggest line item on every flip that I do is that real estate agents commission.” Ryan Stewman
